He is the son of the late Jaime and Olinda (Sousa) Carreiro.
Luis is survived by two daughters, Magin O. Carreiro and her husband Helder-Silva and Jessica Carreiro, Jose, Nelson, Fernando Carreiro, Margarida Ormonde, Eugenia Machado, Rosario Sousa, Filomena Anderson and Goretti Medeiros, 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 9:30am in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
