83, passed on May 29, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.
She was the daughter of the late Napoleao and Elzira DePina.
She is survived by three sons, Napoleao DePina, Joe Gomes, Domingos DePina all from Pawtucket, two daughters, Natalina Lopes of Central Falls and Maria DePina of Brava Cape Verde and especially Rosa Gomes who cared for her as if she was her daughter for the last 12 year. She was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Anna was known for helping many women of Brava in bringing their children into this world.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave at 10am.
Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday 5 to 8pm.
