"Dracc" 20, passed on January 3rd, 2014 and was found June 19th, 2014. He was wearing his turquoise Neff beanie, which held the vibrant energy of every beautiful day spent skateboarding curbs and putting together words on paper.

Dracc's inquisitive eyes blinked for the first time on March 11th, 1993, at 11:01 am. He was born at Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, R.I. to Kerri Ann Cloutier and Paul Michael LaRue, Jr. at a whopping 9 pounds, 11 ounces.

Throughout his life, Dracc was an artistic, musical, and philosophical inspiration to all who crossed his path. True to his Pisces sign, he was artistic, sensitive, and intuitive. There was never a moment where he wasn't drawing abstractions, writing golden material, doing spot on impressions, picking apart books, or relating to his fellow human being. Dracc was far from a phillistine. He had a variety of tastes and interests in books, music, art, and film. He loved Dali, science fiction, and philosophy. He listened to anything from 60's psychedelic to hip hop to classical. Among some of his favorite films were American Beauty, Shawshank Redemption, Goodfellas, Reservoir Dogs, and a variety of British cinema, documentaries, and experimental films.

Daniel's life was short, but it was also lived to the fullest extent. By age 20 he had lived in San Francisco's Haight Ashbury district where he spread his good energy, philosophy, and intelligence. He was also a prominent member of the Providence poetry and hip hop community, performing at a multitude of venues from age 15-20. His last show was this past Halloween at Fete, where his intensity emanated and his lyrics flowed as half of Kudos and Dracc. In addition to his musical and artistic successes, Daniel was just about finished with his internship at Year Up, as a Data Analyst at CVS Caremark.

Dracc leaves behind a world full of people who will be longing for him until it is their time to go. To say he will be missed is a gross understatement. He was a son, brother, friend, and lover. He was an artist, poet, musician, philosopher, and intellect. He was the best human being on the planet. Our hearts will always be bursting with love for our boy. Until we meet again, rest easy, Dracc, Stay up. He leaves behind his mom and dad and sisters Erin LaRue and Andrea LaRue. Calling hours will be held Saturday, July 19th from 6 to 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
