(Lamoureux) 79, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in the Hospice center surrounded by her family and her beloved cat Mai-tai. Her husband Rudolph A. Gonya predeceased her. They had been married for 60 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late George Lamoureux and Victoria (Breault) Lamoureux. Victoria had been employed as a spooler and a private duty nurse in her younger days. She was also a Eucharist minister at St. Raymond Church for many years. She is survived by two daughters, Katherine Rivet and her spouse Virginia Davis of Central Falls, Karen Miller and her spouse Theron "Buddy" of Seekonk, two sons, Rudolph G. "Rudy" Gonya and his spouse Donna-Lee of Pawtucket and Eric Gonya of Columbia SC. She was the devoted grandmother "mim" of 7 grandchildren, "GG" of 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Victoria was the mother of the late Michael and Adam Gonya. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at Noon in St. Raymond Church, North Main St, Providence. Burial will be held in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will begin Monday morning at 10:00am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
