86, passed on July 25th. He was the husband of Rhea (Collignon) Levesque. They have been married for 61 years.
He was the son of the late Adolphe and Leopoldine (Pelletier) Levesque and was a lifelong Central Falls resident.
Normand had been employed as Lace Draftsman for American Textiles, RI Lace and Seekonk Lace for over 40 years before retiring. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Normand Levesque of Cumberland, Gerard "Gus" Levesque and his wife Sue of Central Falls, three daughters, Denise Lima and her husband Joe of East Providence, Yvette Chartier and her husband Bill of Pawtucket, and Elaine Catalan and her husband Mark of Pawtucket, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Monday, July 28,th at 8:15 am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30 am. Burial with military honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Camp Ker-Anna, 500 Reservoir Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864.
