59, passed away on August 12th. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the beloved wife of the late Francisco A. Fontes and the daughter of the late John Correia and Domingas Rocha.
As a loving and caring mother, she is survived by a son, Manuel Fontes, a daughter, Michell Fontes and a grandson, Jose Gabriel Fontes, all of Central Falls. She is also survived by her siblings Idilia Cosme. John Correia Jr, Estella Barbosa, Autilia Dylan and Lydia Nelson along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, RI immediately following the funeral. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be Sunday from 12-3. In lieu of flowers, donations are being asked to be made to either the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
