92, passed peacefully on August 30, 2014 at Mt. St Rita's Health Center, Cumberland, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Daly for twenty five years.
Born in Providence on New Year's Day 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (Hanley) McGowan. She had been employed by the Department of Labor and Training until her retirement in 1983.
Charlotte is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her sister, Margaret McGowan and brother, James McGowan Sr. predeceased her.
At her request a memorial mass will be held at a later date.
