Napoleon known to his nieces and nephews as "Uncle Po-Po" was born on February 25, 1952 in Pensacola, Florida to the late Margaret Ree (Lewis) and Johnnie Lee Owden, Sr. He was educated in the Escambia County Public School System and worked as a chef after graduation.

Napoleon is survived by his two sons Napoleon Jr and Christopher Owden, ex-wife Lillie Owden, and long-time companion Diane Lee-Stuckey, all of Providence.

He was preceded in death by three sisters: Gloria Pace, Delores Linda Haynes, and Mary Lucas; two brothers Henry Lee and John Michael Owden.

He leaves to cherish his memory James (Mary Ann) Owden, Eva (John) Franklin, and Jennifer (Roy) Edwards, all of Providence; Nasharon Owden, Ricky Reids, Michelle and Johnnie Lee (Sally) Owden, all of Pensacola, Florida. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held Friday, September 26th from 10am till noon with a service at noon in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Cranston.
