was born on December 14, 1928 in Blanchisseuse,
Trinidad W.I. On September 13, 2014 she peacefully entered the gates of
Heaven.
Carmen was joined in matrimony to Oscar Frederick Dalrymple.
To this union they created nine children, Anthony Hernandez, Jacqueline
Hernandez, Oscar Dalrymple, Mervyn Dalrymple, Reginald Dalrymple,
Robert Dalrymple, Carol Dalrymple-Parker, Shawn Dalrymple,
and Paul Dalrymple. Carmen also leaves behind a sister Monica (Rosie)
Solomon. Along with twenty-five grandchildren and twenty-nine great
grandchildren, and a host of friends and family that will miss her
dearly.
Carmen was a member of Emmanuel Seven-Day Adventist Church.
She worked at Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, where she
resided for forty three years until she moved to North Carolina to be
with her family.
Calling hours will be held Friday, September 26th in the Olney St Baptist Church,
100 Olney St, Providence starting at 9:30am followed by a Home-going Service at 11am. Burial will
be in North Burial Ground, Providence.
