79, passed on October 13th. She was the wife of the late
William F. Laverty. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruth (Sherman)Blanchette.
Ruth is survived by three sons, James, Michael and Joseph Laverty, a daughter, Laurie Taylor, a brother Harold Blanchette, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert, Donald Blanchette, and Louise Girard.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 2 to 4pm followed by a service at 4pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the ALS Foundation Rhode Island Chapter.
