"JW". 92, of Central Falls RI and Cape Coral Fl, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on November 12th. He was the former husband of Francis K. Bryan and Carol (Sexton) Bryan. In 1956, Jim started his own used appliance business in a one room store on School St. in Central Falls, RI. He then purchased the former Central Falls City Hall on Summit St, and through a labor of love, built it into a three story furniture store which contained the exclusive Flex Steel furniture gallery in New England. He proudly named the store, "Bryan Furniture". A WWII Navy veteran, Jim fought in the Battle of Santa Cruz. He is survived by two sons, Michael Bryan and Bruce Bryan, a daughter, Tara Bryan Strain, six grandchildren, Timothy, Jason, Samuel, Casey and Wendy Bryan and Savannah Horsfield, two stepchildren, Robin Elliott Varela and David Varela. Calling hours will be held Saturday, November 15th from noon till 2pm followed by Military Honors in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
