41, passed on December 16, 2014. Born in Fogo, Cape Verde, he was the son of the late Mauricio Andrade and Benvinda Goncalves of Fogo, Cape Verde.
He is also survived by his wife, Rosa Andrade, five children, Kassandra Andrade, Destaney Andrade, Joao Andrade Jr, Imanie Andrade, Naomi Andrade, three stepchildren, Maria Norris, Jaymion Andrade and Jailah Barros, four sisters, Eva Teixeira, Augusta Andrade, Maria Martinez, Mauricia Andrade of Brocton, seven brothers, Venceslay Andrade, Oscar Andrade, Carlos Andrade, Joao R. Andrade, Emanuel Andrade of Brocton, Eugenio Andrade and Elizeu Andrade of Cape Verde, 35 nieces and nephews and was loved by many. John was a fun and loving man who always smiled and would put a smile on everyone's face. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family and friends.
His funeral will be held Monday at 10:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at Noon. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 8pm.
