She was the daughter of Isabel Vaz and Antonio Pires. She is survived by three sisters, Maria R. Pires, Eugenia Alves and Stephanie Vaz, and a brother, Olavo Pires. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11am in St. Mary Church, 103 Pine St, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Wednesday morning, December 31st starting at 8am.
