78, died January 15th. She was the wife of the late Normand Lanoue.
She had been employed by the former Star Market, Almacs and Paramount Cards.
Rita was an active lifelong parishioner and Eucharistic Minister for Notre Dame Church, St. Matthew Church and then Holy Spirit Parish.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane T. Rose of Myrtle Beach, SC, three sons, Ronald M. Lanoue of Fort Wayne, IN, Kenneth A. Lanoue of Seekonk, MA, and Kevin B. Lanoue of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters, Lucie Holland and Claire Hague, 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Rose-Marie Lanoue and Lorraine L. Clement and sister of the late Edmond Tetreault.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, January 20th at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish (St. Matthew Church), Dexter St., Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Monday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Holy Spirit Parish, 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls RI 02863.
