91, passed peacefully at home on February 12th. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was a daughter of the late Henrique Goncalves and Emilia Moniz.
She is survived by two daughters, Emilia Rodrigues and her husband Jose of Central Falls and Adelina Barros of Pawtucket, two sisters, Cliofa Burgo of Portugal and Adelina Goncalves of Pawtucket, eight grandchildren, Edhi, Conceicao, Amor “zeâ€, Suzy, Nany, Adilson, Simone, and Daniela, a son in law, Zeze di Tizica, thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Djedje di Tizica
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, February 18th at 8:15am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial in the Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Interment will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8pm.
