76, passed on April 29th at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Ada (Perry) Shelton.
Born in St. Matthews, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Ernest and Cora (Bolger) Shelton.
Isaiah had been employed for over 30 years by Carol Cable before retiring.
He is survived by his children, Stephanie Rose, Christella Dale, Howalina Carter, Benjiannie Dale, Elnora Dale, Charles Shelton, Isaiah Shelton, Wymond Shelton, and Ernest Shelton, a brother, Thomas Shelton, 29 grandchildren and many great grandchildren
He was the father of the late Elvira Campbell, Cora-Lee Shelton and Benetha Dale and brother of the late Cora Williams, Bernice Whitmore Philip E. Shelton and Abe Shelton. A Homegoing service will be held Tuesday, May 5th at 11am in the Union Baptist Church, 50 Lupine St, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will begin at the church at 9am. Burial will be on North Burial Ground, Providence.
