93, passed on May 7th.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Aristide and Valerie (Plouffe) Boucher.
She had been employed by Shepards' Department store, the former Outlet Department Store and Fannie Farmers of Pawtucket for many years.
Rita is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Susan J. Gadoury and Gay Gadoury Salvas, and sister of the late Eva Proulx, Antoinette Benoit, Gloria Boucher, Magella Churchill, and Joseph and William Boucher.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, May 12th at 9am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd, Cumberland at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 7pm.
