"Danny" 23, passed away on Saturday May 23, 2015. He was the beloved son of Joao J. and Antonia D. Lopes and the Grandson of Raimundo and Clara Lopes, Julia Spencer, Maria D. DeBrito, and the late Raimundo J. DeBrito.
He was the loving brother to Anderson DaSilva, Raymond Lopes and Johnny Lopes. He cherished the time he spent with his adoring nieces and nephews Alexia Lopes, Aiyonna Norman, AJ DaSilva, Annelice DaSilva, Aaron DaSilva, and soon to be Godson. He was the treasured boyfriend to Kacee Montgomery. He was the devoted owner of his dog, Remi. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends, all who played very important roles in his life.
Danny was the president and engineer of Space Jam Productions alongside his cousin, Jonny Gomes. His ambition, motivation, and marketing skills ensured Space Jam productions reached its maximum success. He promoted through private venues and strongly believed in the importance of giving back and supporting everyone in the community.
In addition, Danny served as a substitute custodian for the East Providence School System. Besides fulfilling his duties as a custodian, he developed a positive rapport with the students. He was well respected and valued by all.
Danny will always be remembered for his devotion to his family. He loved music, sports, paintballing, hanging out with his friends, and being adventurous. He forever touched the lives of everyone he encountered with his smile and charismatic personality. He will continue to warm the hearts of all through his legacy in Space Jam Productions and his hat collection will always live on. Black and Gold forever!
Funeral service Saturday at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5 to 8pm.
