Normand was the son of the late Joseph and Bernadette (Bergeron) Rattey. He was predeceased by his son Stephen Rattey and his sister Jeanne Turenne.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a grandson, Corey Hutzler of CT,and a sister Yvette Caron
eight stepchildren, Sandra Messier of Maine, Kathleen Smith of Smithfield,RI, Michael Crompton of VA, Gail McHugh of Coventry, RI, Bonnie Norton of CT, Brenda Noreau of Smithfield, RI, John Crompton of Smithfield, RI and Pamela Stockford of CT, 19 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
