98, passed peacefully on June 19th.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jose R. Mancebo.
Born in Terceira, Azores, a daughter of the late Joaquim C. Ormonde and Gertrude (Vieira) Ormonde.
She was cherished by all her family. She is survived by son, Joaquim Mancebo, daughter, Connie Barcelos and her husband, Manuel. She was the mother of the late Jose C. Mancebo & wife, Otilia, Arnaldo Mancebo, and Luis Mancebo. She is also survived by her daughters-in-law, Vanda Mancebo and Odilia Mancebo from Brazil; her grandchildren in Rhode Island-Manuela Barcelos & son, Julian; Suzy (Barcelos) Winchester and late husband, Michael E. Winchester; Maria Mancebo Coltey and husband, Greg Coltey & sons, Max & Owen; Joseph Mancebo; and her grandchildren in Brazil-Jose Augusto & Ana Lucia Mancebo; Elizabeth & Luis Henrique Mancebo and families.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Wednesday, June 24th at 10am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St, North Providence. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI. 1085 North Main St, Providence, RI 02904.
