passed on July 7th. She was the wife of the late Walter Briggs Jr. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Russell Watkins and Cora Boyd. Abbie is survived by four sons, Walter, David, Michael and Eric Briggs, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Friday, July 10th from 10am till noon followed by a service at noon in the Gospel Tabernacle, 145 Oakland Ave, Providence. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, East Providence, RI.
