He leaves behind to cherish his memory his life long companion Diane Knott as well as his children Eugene Knott, Gina Washington, Darrell Taylor, Kimm, Charlena, and James Knott, Mollie and Joycelyn Lassiter and also leaves a host of grand and great grandchildren. He is survived by one brother Matt Washington. He is proceeded in death by his sisters Doretha Tutt, Zera Lancaster, Josie Isom, Betty Washington, Daisy Harper, and three brothers Charles Washington, Sylvester Washington and Jorge Harper. Calling hours will be held Monday, July 20th from 5 to 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
