86, of Pawtucket, RI passed away on Wednesday, July 29 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was receiving Hospice services, with her daughters assisting in her care.
Jeannette was the wife of the late Albert R. Pare'. They were married for 55 years.
Born and raised in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Oliver J. and Florence (Messier) Galarneau.
She was a graduate of West High School, class of 1947, and briefly attended several art schools. She was employed at the Union Wadding Company for 35 years before retiring at the age of 75 in 2004.
Jeannette was a seamstress, an avid walker, liked painting, browsing in stores and traveling. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and her grandchildren fondly recall going on outings with their Nana.
Mrs. Pare' is survived by her five daughters: Cheryl Paquette (Norman) of Raymond, NH, Nancy Saloio (Charles) of North Providence, RI, Susan Bouchard (Thomas) of Pawtucket, RI, Beverly Hoegen (Kenneth) of Webster, MA and Michele Pare' (Matthew) of Lisbon, NH.
She had 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was the sister of Omer and Oliver Galarneau and was preceded in death by her sister Claire Jeffrey, to whom she was very close. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Jeannette was associated with the Lincoln congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Calling hour at 2pm followed by a memorial service at 3pm at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI on Saturday, August 15, 2015.
