He leaves two adult grandchildren, Chris and Danielle, and Andre's fiancee, Reba Golden. Gil was an outstanding professional goaltender in both the NHL and the AHL, winning 6 "All Star Goaltender" trophies. At his request there will not be a wake. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 7th at St. Jude's Church, 301 Front Street, in Lincoln at 10 A.M.
