52, passed away on Oct. 2, 2015 after a valiant battle with cancer. Phil was the son of Clifford and Norma (Hall) Smith. He lived in Lincoln for most of his life. Phil served bravely as a firefighter and EMT in Lincoln for many years. He taught at the RI St. Municipal Policy Academy. Phil also worked as a park coordinator for Fairlawn summer program. Throughout his career, Phil represented many insurance companies. He was awarded scouts highest honor, Eagle Scout. He attended The College of Wooster in Wooster OH, and often fed the homeless in Prov.

Phil leaves behind his wife, Kathy his children, Becc (Ed) and Heath (Kari), and his grandchildren, Taylor and Kyra. All are welcome to a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 on Sat Oct 10 at St. Jude's Church, 301 Front St, Lincoln and join us afterward at 12 Acres Restaurant, 445 Douglas Pike, Smithfield to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations to Amos House are appreciated.
