39, passed away on October 17th, unexpectedly at home.

She was born on April 10, 1976 in Ribeira Da Cruz Santo Antão, Cape Verde, a daughter of the Domingos Vaz and Maria Rosa F. Martins.
Carla relocated to Pawtucket, Rhode Island where she graduated from Shea High School, Class 1995.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to Cape Verdean music. Her family, friends and loved ones will remember her by beautiful smile, caring personality and huge heart.
She is survived by her father Domingos Vaz (wife Sandra Vaz) her mother Maria Brandao (husband of Agas Brandao) and her two daughters Symone Resende/18 and Syaisa Vaz/7 years old.
Additionally, she leaves behind her siblings Alberto Vaz, Nelson Resende, Ernesto Rocha, Eunice Vaz and Carina Vaz as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and loved ones.
Her funeral will be held Friday October 23rd at 10 am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 22nd from 5 to 9 pm. A Memorial talk will be held at 7 pm.
