88, of Lincoln, died peacefully on October 31, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the cherished husband of Laila (Haddad) Raheb. Born and raised in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Michael and Samia Raheb. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael Raheb, Joseph Raheb, Esq., Ronald Raheb, Sharon DeSimone, Brenda Hultquist and Darlene Balon, all of Lincoln, RI. He also leaves behind 24 grandchildren and
one great grandchild. He was also the husband of the late Flavie Altongy Raheb and the brother of Dr. Edmond Raheb, Fred Raheb, Lauretta Hanna, Jane Scaramuzzi and the late Violet Marcotte.
Samuel owned and operated the Sunshine Market in Central Falls for 35 years until his retirement. He was also a real estate developer and a Korean war veteran. His family was the most important part of his life. He was also active in his Church and enjoyed traveling throughout the world.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of Saint Basil the Great, 15 Skyview Dr.,Lincoln, RI on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Basil's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Basil's Building Fund would be appreciated.
