65, passed unexpectedly on November 8, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Ana (Pimentel), they have been married for 31 years. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal. He was the son of the late Antonio and Gloria (Martins) Botelho. Besides his wife, he is also survived by his two children, Jessica and Joshua, his sisters, Guimar of Sao Miguel Azores, Esmeralda of Rhode Island, Bernadette of Canada, his brothers, Antonio and Jose both from Canada, many nieces, nephews and two goddaughters.
Carlos was employed for 15 years with Providence Metalizing in Pawtucket before retiring from JS Pallet in 2013. He was an active member of the Holy Spirit Society, Banda Nova Alianca, St Anthony's Parish Committee, St Anthony's Church Choir, and Romeiros. Carlos was very devoted to his family, friends, and church. He was known for his kind heart and outgoing personality.
His funeral will be held Thursday, November 12th at 8:30 am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave., at 10 am. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling Hours Wednesday 5-8 pm. Relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Holy Spirit Society (I.D.E.S) 32 Lawn Ave, Pawtucket RI 02860.
