76, passed away on November 14th after a two year battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Sam Angell. Sylvia, was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Cecile (Cartel) Oullette, she grew up in Coventry, RI, and graduated from Our Lady of the Mt Academy in Gorham, NH. Sylvia loved to play the piano and was an exemplary seamstress. She loved knitting, crocheting and sewing; she made many gifts for family and friends. Mrs Angell worked at Jostens Ring Company for 24 years.
Her retirement was spent visiting friends and doing whatever she wanted, when she wanted. She would stay up all night enjoying her "babies" (her ferrets).
She is survived by hers sons, Ernest F. Coit III and Scott W. Coit Sr, and Patricia Menders whom she considered the daughter she never had, siblings Paul Oullette and Normand Leclair, sisters, Theresa Desmarais and Lorraine Levesque, grandchildren Corinne Latraverse and Ernest F. Coit IV and Scott W. Coit Jr. 3 great grandchildren, Cameron, Mason and Milah and many nieces and nephews.
Sylvia was loved by all and was known as "Mom" by many.
She was a very kind, giving, sincere and loving person and will be greatly missed. Sylvia was not only an Angel in name, She was an angel here on earth and is now and Angel in Heaven. We love you mom
A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 19th at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St, Providence, RI 02905 would be appreciated.
