78, passed on December 24th. She was the wife of Raymond H. Thibodeau.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Marie Anne (Desrosiers) Martel.
Resided in Cumberland for the past 50 years and was a communicant of St. John Vianney Church.
She was the founder and President of Bay Business Machines until her retirement 2 years ago. Anyone who knew Annette will never forget her dry wit and classic "one-liners".
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Brian Thibodeau and wife Nancy of Cumberland, Troy Thibodeau and wife Deb of Cranston, 4 grandchildren, Brenna, Troy, Adam and Kayley, three brothers, Leo, Gilbert and Raymond Martel, three sisters, Madeliene Pereira, Lillian Bradley and Louise Green.
She was the sister of the late Arthur C. Martel, Doris Migneault, Maurice Martel and Rachel O'Brien.
The family is deeply appreciative of the entire staff at Oakland Grove Healthcare Center for their loving and tender care given to Annette during her 8 month stay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Rd., Cumberland, Monday at 10 am. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5 to 7 pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of Annette Thibodeau to Camp Ker-Anna, 500 Reservoir Road, Cumberland, RI 02864.
