70, passed December 26th. He was the husband of Bibiana ((Alvarez) Roggero. Wayne was very fortunate to have a wonderful childhood in Newport. Growing up he enjoyed many activities with his family and relatives. In the summer he loved fishing, camping, and skin-diving. Helping his dad check lobster pots in the family boat was followed by many clambakes. He always loved seafood, especially the stuffed quahogs at Flo's in Island Park. In the winter he went ice skating and played hockey at St. George's rink and at many local ponds.

While stationed in Germany with the Air Force he took up skydiving and enjoyed skiing in the Alps. This assignment gave him the opportunity to travel to other countries in Europe. He took his first trip to Colombia with his wife Viviana in 2004. He fell in love with her wonderful family and returned many times. He loved everything about Colombia - the music, the food, especially empanadas, and the amazing weather in Medellin.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith St, Providence, Saturday, January 2nd at 10am.
