"Mamai" 97, passed on January 24th surrounded by loving family members. She was the wife of the late Joseph Manuel Andrade.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde a daughter of the late Henrique and Francesca DaSilva.
She dedicated her life to her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Madalena Silva Andrade Barbosa and her husband Eurico Barbosa, two sons, Manuel Silva Andrade and his wife Dee Andrade and Joseph Silva Andrade and his wife Merly Andrade, grandchildren Cybill Joia-Najib and her husband Mark Najib, with whom she resided with for several years, Bobbie Joia Nievera and her husband Richard Nievera, Christopher Barbosa, Zuleyma Andrade, Yessenia Andrade, Sierra Andrade, Holly Andrade and Francesca Cochran, great grandchildren Feras Najib, Sedra Najib, Damase Nievera, Skyla Cochran and Cole, sisters, Adelina DaSilva and Maqulina DaGraca, a brother, Henrique DaSilva and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Friday, January 29th at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Benefit St, Providence at 10am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 8pm.
