passed away peacefully on February 2nd, 2016. Born Nikolaos Stylianos Tsipis November 3rd, 1933, he was the son of the late Despina Tspis and Father Stylianos Tsipis. Niko emigrated to the USA with the help of his late brother Costa (Gus) and Barbara Chippis in the Summer of 1969. He was employed as a restaurant worker by his brother at Sparky's Restaurant on Dexter Street for almost 40yrs. He lived on 67 Perry St., Central Falls for many years self sufficiently until his health no longer permitted that. He was admitted to the Pawtucket Skilled nursing Home in 2013 where he was able to continue living as actively as possible. They continued his care there and along with his friends Roberta and daughter Marybeth did a great job over seeing him right till the time of his death. The family would like to acknowledge them for their love and concern. He is survived by his sister Niki, and brother John Chippis of Athens Greece, also niece Ritsa and nephew George. In the United States he is survived by his two sisters in-law Barbara Chippis, and Kathleen Chippis, also their children Steve, Nicky, Cindy, Johnny, Mary, Dena, Maria, John, as well as great nephews and nieces Allan, Gregory, Tyler, Nicholas, and Sarah.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 20th from 1 to 3pm.
