At age 92, Joe passed away on April 8, 2016. He was a loving husband of the late Mildred M. (Haskell) Ryfa and son of Joseph Ryfa and Julia
(Shito) Ryfa, Polish immigrants. Joseph served as a private first class in Patton's 3rd army, 4th armored division. During WWII, he was involved in the liberation of Europe. He was a caring and devoted father who taught the value of family. His legacy is evident by his
surviving family. He has six loving children, five sons and a daughter: Joe, Mike, Dan, David, Mary, and Erik. His grandchildren:
Aaron, Tarah, Amanda, Austin, Courtney, Michaela and Kaitlyn. His great grandchildren: Cynthia, Dakota, Riley, Hailey, Natalie and Jack.
Joe touched the hearts of too many to list. He now joins his true love, Mildred (Nanny to her grandchildren), who passed before him.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, RI. A full
military funeral will be held beginning at Keefe Funeral Home proceeding to burial at the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter on Thursday at 10am with a service in the funeral home at 10:30am. For online condolences visit www.thekeefefuneralhome.com.
