The family of Maude Clinton smith announces her home going in her seventy-ninth year on Tuesday, 19 April 2016 at Oakhill Nursing Home in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA. She leaves to mourn her loss her children:
Solomon Hoggard,Charlesetta Wright-Cummings (Mamie),Ramsey MacDonald Smith (Mike),Kornell G.Rancy,Jr (Feleki/Sonnyboy),Romell Rancy-Taylor,Maude S.Smith-Natt(Dryso),Lydia Smith-Khouzami,Izetta Carphart;twenty-nine grandchildren,nine great-grandchildren,two great great-grandchildren,nieces,nephews,a plethora of people that lived with her and called her mother,and a host of other relatives in Liberia and the US. She was predeceased by her parents Solomon Clinton and Ada Foster-Clinton of Bolotown,Artington Township,her husband Rev.Henry Wilfred
Longfellow Smith – formal assistant pastor Tubman United Methodist Church in Paynesville City;her siblings: Lincoln Clinton, Rowland Clinton, Ella Clinton; her grandson, her daughter Fatso and her son Lincoln Bryant.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, May 7th at 10 a.m. from Trinity United Methodist Church, 375 Broad St.,Providence. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. in Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln.
