69, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Eduino Carreiro. She was born in Lomba da Fazenda, Sao Miguel, Azores, and was the daughter of the late Jose Cabral Amaral and Ludovina Teves. She immigrated to the United States in 1973, settling in Central Falls.
Orandina was a loving and devoted mother to her two sons, Mario Carreiro and Claudio Carreiro of Central Falls. She is also survived by her sister, Natalia Paiva, of Central Falls, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Antonio C. Amaral.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, Rhode Island, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 32 Lawn Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m.
