85, of Valley St., Central Falls, R.I., a secretary for John Hancock Co. in Pawtucket, R.I. for 35 years, retiring in 1997, died Sunday at Holiday Retirement Home, Manville, R.I.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Theode and Aurore Mongeau. She lived in Central Falls for 82 years.
She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Central Falls, R.I. with high honors. She was a communicant of St. Matthew's Parish in Central Falls, R.I. Estelle was a member of the Lady of St. Ann.
She leaves two brothers, Laurence P. Mongeau of Scituate, R.I., Rene Mongeau of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania and one sister, Lucille M. Aubin of Blackstone, MA. She was the sister of the late Bernard Mongeau, Maurice Mongeau and Lucien Mongeau.
She was a supportive and loving aunt. She cherished spending time with family and will be missed dearly by all of them.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 8:15 am from Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Holy Spirit Parish, 1030 Dexter St., Central Falls. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation is Wednesday July 20, 2016 from 6 - 9 pm.
