84, passed away on July 23, 2016. He was the loving husband of Jacqueline (Budnick) Robbins. Born in Providence, R.I., a son of the late Russell and Dora (Lowell) Robbins.
James was the owner of Jim's Auto Body in Pawtucket for many years and served as President of the Rhode Island Towing Association. He was a long acting member of the Disabled American Veterans and he served in the Navy during the Korean War.
Besides his wife James is survived by 7 children, Donna Blakey, James F. Robbins Jr., Jeffrey, Kenneth, Brian, David Robbins, Karen Bloch; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Vernon R., Evelyn, and Louise Robbins.
His funeral will be Wednesday, July 27th at 10 am from Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:45 am in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 5 North St., Seekonk, MA. Burial will follow in the National Veterans Cemetery of Bourne Massachusetts, Connery Ave., Bourne, MA. Calling hours will be Tuesday 4 - 7 pm. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the DAV- Disabled American Veterans Chapter 3, 1153 1/2 Central Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861.
