79, passed unexpectedly on August 7th. He was the husband of Cecile (Nadeau) Anter, they have been married for 46 years. Born in Central Falls, where he was a lifelong resident, the son of the late John and Zakie (Danho) Anter. He had been employed by Osram Sylvania for 35 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Steven Anter and his wife Cyndi; a sister, Lillian George and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George J. and Barbara Anter.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 5 - 8 P.M. in St. Ephraim Syrian Orthodox Church, 215 Washington St., Central Falls, R.I. 02863. A funeral service will follow Thursday at 10 A.M. in St. Ephraim Church. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Ephraim Syrian Orthodox Church.
