Julio Cesar Durango, 44 of Providence, RI passed away on February 17, 2010.

He was born November 17, 1966 in Bogota, Colombia to Leonel and Rosalba Durango of Northbridge, MA.

He was a beloved fiance and devoted father.
He was the owner of Dafco Tool Company.

He was an avid soccer player and passionate New York Yankees baseball fan, and Patriots football fan.

He loved animals, especially his German shepherd, Dakota and cat, Sam.

Julio had a zest for life, and the ability to walk in a room, lift your spirits and make you laugh regardless of the occasion. Times will come that we will search to find his smiling face and feel his absence.
We will look in the eyes of his beautiful child and will see a part of himself he left behind. Words cannot express the emptiness that he has left in all our lives.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by fiance, Penny Leppert and his daughter, Alexis Ella, of Providence, sister, Luz Fontes, of Northbridge MA, and brother, Wilfredo Durango, of Greenville SC, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who he left with fond sweet memories. He will be missed greatly.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Humane Society or ASPCA.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday February 21, 2010 from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, off Smithfield Ave from 3-6pm.
