89, of Cumberland passed away peacefully on Thursday August 18th. She was the loving wife of Walter Lavallee.
Arlene was born on October 8, 1926 in Pawtucket to the late Arthur Provost and Lillian (Sweet) Provost. She was employed as an executive secretary for over 30 years at various local companies. She also completed her certification as a nurse's aide and worked at Notre Dame Hospital before she retired.
Besides her husband she is survived by 2 sons, Thomas McKenna and his wife Donna of Providence and Brian McKenna of Cumberland; a sister, Joan Hill of Providence; a grandson, Ryan James McKenna of East Providence; and many cousins and nieces. She was formerly married to the late Thomas James McKenna.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, August 22nd at 10 A.M. from Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in St. Aidan Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Rd., Cumberland. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, August 21st from 6 - 8 P.M. and Monday, August 22nd from 8 - 10 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
