68, died August 31, 2016. He was the husband of Lucienne (Turcotte) Ogden. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late William J. and Elizabeth (Roddick) Ogden. He was a self employed contractor for many years also worked at Electric Boat, Quonsoit Point, RI and at North Western medical Center, St Albans, VT. William was a Vietnam Veteran. A true outdoors man, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and was a certified Scuba Diver. Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Steven Ogden of Swanton, VT, two daughters, Kristen Burns and her husband Keith of Swanton, VT and Warwick, RI, and Jessica Joaquin and her husband Bruce of Cranston, RI, a sister, Elizabeth Patton and her husband Allen of Central Falls, 9 grandchildren, Michael Michaela, Wynter, Nicolette Plunkett, Courtney, Nicole and Keith Burns, Victoria and Rebecca Ogden, six great grandchildren, Jasmine, Sylvana and Alexandra Amaral, Jasmine, Rosalie Chagnon and Darren Burns and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 7th at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by Military Honors. Burial will be private in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8pm.
