Born in Sao Vicente,Cape Verde Islands a daughter of the late Tomas and Maria "Fortes" Gomes. She is survived by a daughter, Carla Gomes, a son, Jose "Nelson" Gomes and his wife Maria, a sister, Maria Hilaria Lopes, four grandchildren, Yassara Gomes, Gianna DosSantos, Ricky Gomes and Taline Lopes.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 28th at 11am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be graveside in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery,Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8pm.
