29, of Pawtucket, RI passed away October 31st, 2016. Mathew was known to all his family and friends as a generous individual, who would literally give you the shirt of his back. He had an impeccable work ethic. He started working at the tender age of 14 years old and never stopped pouring himself into his work. He was also known as the family protector; he could be best described as the "Guardian Angel" of his family. He loved his family.

He leaves behind his beloved daughter Mya Reverdes, his mother Gelci "Chi" Barros and her partner Efrain of Pawtucket, his biological father Emilio "Mimi" Santos and his wife Delphine of France, his stepfather Jorge DaRosa, and lifelong father-figure and friend Clarence Wayne Soares. He is also survived by his siblings, Kevin Veloso, Shane DaRosa, Candida DaRosa, Chylyn Acevedo and Giovanni Santos, his paternal grandmother Maria Cabral, Godparents Tony & Julie Santos and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Mathew was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Elisa Barros, and his paternal grandfather Antonio Lopes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Christian Funeral Service on Monday, November 7th at 10 A.M. at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln, RI. Burial will follow at Swan Point Cemetery in Providence, RI. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 6th from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln, RI.
