was born on November 11, 1937 in Orange, New Jersey. He grew up in Newark and often would hang around Jersey City and Bellville. He joined the military on January 25th, 1955, where he served his country and was stationed at the US Naval Station in Newport, Rhode Island. He was honorably discharged in March of 1956. At age 20 he bought his first car, which was a Chevy. He always loved American cars, especially big luxury cars like Cadillacs and Lincolns. His second love was food and cooking. You'd often see him eating and there wasn't anything he didn't enjoy, especially his favorite dish-pasta.
Overall, John was a very sociable man that everyone was attracted to. He enjoyed talking about politics and was not afraid to speak his mind. He was a strong-willed man who respected everyone's opinion. John was a very loving man who was devoted to his family and cherished his wife and children.
John was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in September 2015. After fighting a hard-fought battle for over a blessed year, John is survived by his loving wife, Martha, his 2 siblings, Joanne and Kathy, and his seven children: Gina, Rose, Denise, Diane, Lisa, Stephanie, and Johnny. Along with his 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren: Kassandra, Alex, Frankie, Brandon, DJ, Jacob, Bianca, Jessica, Joey, Jeffrey, Angelina, and Asher.
His Burial services will be held on Monday, November 21st at 12:30 p.m. Please feel free to join us at 301 South Country Rd. Exeter, Rhode Island, to give your final farewells to this wonderful soul.
