61, passed away peacefully, on Thursday November 17, 2016, at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI.
After high school, Ann Marie completed multiple college courses and worked steadily as a Real estate book keeper, later owning A.F. Cleaning with her Husband. From 1988-1997 she produced and hosted her own cable access TV show.
She was trained by RIPIN for civil rights under section 504 and A.D.A. She spent many years advocating for handicapped children in need of special services and held seminars on child abuse prevention for local schools and police departments.
Ann Marie leaves behind her husband Joseph Ferreira; daughters Dawn Ferreira and Tracy Onasanya; sons in law Aaron Afonso and Peter Onasanya; grandsons Simon Onasanya and Abraham Onasanya; and brother James Taylor. She will be deeply missed and always loved.
Viewing to be held on Monday November 21,2016, at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI, from 9am to 12pm, with private ceremony for family to follow at Swan Point Cemetery.
