101, passed peacefully on Christmas morning. He was the husband of the late Elena (Romano) Imbruglia. Born in Attleboro, MA he was a son of the late Antonio and Antonetta Imbruglia.
He was the proprietor of the former Sam's Barber Shop on Broadway in Providence for many years. He was a former member of the Salvatore Mancini Senior Center, North Providence and Cranston and Providence Senior Centers. Sam enjoyed life, dancing, playing pool, and loved the song "Spanish Eyes".
He is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Baldinelli of North Providence, four grandchildren, Kenneth N. Testa, Cindy Ketchel, Sam Baldinelli and Scott Baldinelli, four great grandchildren,Tonya Ketchel, Bianca Baldinelli and Dominic Baldinelli. He was the great grandfather of the late Ryan Ketchel. His funeral will be held Saturday, December 31st at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, R.I., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church, Chatham St., Providence at 10am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8pm.
