He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline (Lamothe) Brassard, and the beloved father of nine children, Marc Brassard and his wife Kelly, Mathieu Brassard and his wife Susan, Timothy Brassard, Samantha Trombley and her husband Joshua, Kenneth Brassard and his wife Amy, Richard Brassard and his companion Monique Pelletier, Michelle Brassard and her companion Mathew Goyette, Anthony Brassard and his wife Amy, and Dennis Brassard. He was the beloved grandfather of thirteen, Arriana, Nicolas, Zacary, Hannah and Madeline, Jasmine, Ashley, John Robert, Noah, Alana, Lorelei, Ricky and Azrael; and beloved great grandfather of four, Camdyn, Landon, Kaiden and Ian. He served in and worked for the R.I. Army National Guard for 13 years as a Supply Sergeant. In later years he owned a landscaping company and a flower shop. He was a foster parent for over 100 children over a period of 20 years. Services will be private.
