75, a longtime resident of Largo, Fla.
passed away on January 2nd in the presence of her children. She was the daughter to the late Madeline O'Brien Handrigan and John Handrigan.
Sandra was the loving mother of three children; the late Joseph Morrissey Jr., Kelly Chadwick of Cumberland, RI and her son-in-law Michael Chadwick, as well as Michael Morrissey of Mystic, CT. She leaves behind one cherished grandchild, Allison Chadwick of Cumberland, RI. as well as her best friend, her dog Suchi. The youngest of six children, Sandra was sister to the late Madeline Ogilvie, John Handrigan Jr., David Handrigan, and T. Brian Handrigan. Sandra is survived by her sister Norma Dorrance of Attleboro.
Sandra grew up in Pawtucket, RI. and was a graduate of West High School. Sandra was a long time barbershop quartet singer and an avid collector of colonial arts and crafts, two activities she greatly enjoyed. Sandra will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 12th from 4 to 7pm. Burial will be private.
