85, passed away peacefully on January 10th. She was the wife of the late John M. Gailey for 35 years and the fiance of Robert Monast. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine (Finnigan) Guckevan.
Anna worked for Hospital Trust Bank and Fleet Bank for many years. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Martyr Senior Group, Red Hats Society and Ireland 32 Society.
Besides her fiance, she is survived by two sisters-in-laws, Gladys Tavernier and Christine Gailey; a cousin, Anne Marie Cowan and her husband Bob; best friends, Eleanor Wilson, Natalie Danielson, Julie, the Johnson family; many cousins from Nova Scotia and many friends at Hagan Manor.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 9am from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited.
